You should remove the height/width variables from the tags, but I'd recommened not linking all those high res shots. You can use the IMG Code that photobucket gives you at the right of each image to link a resized version of the picture, like so:

But it's easier to just link to your album:

There is, use the Advanced posting form and there will be a Preview Post button hear the bottom.

BTW, your photos have me perplexed. Where were you shooting from? It appears you were in between T4 and T5, but the EXIF data shows a 70mm focal length for many of them, which is quite a low value for how much they are zoomed in. Plus I can't find an ISO value in them but they are very grainy.

Jeff, the grainy photos shot at 70mm were probably digitally zoomed in and resized...

and which lens were you using? the new one?

That's what I figured, but I'm confused as to why the extreme digital zoom on some of those.

I was using the 18-200 My brother had his 70-300 on his 30D and was getting some nicely framed shots. I'm thinking that Nikkor 70-300 VR will be a nice addition for the track.

But the 18-200 rules so far, I love the flexiblity.

I'm guessing those were done with a point and shoot and not an SLR type camera. reminds me of some of the shots I used to get5 with my Sony T-1

I use the canon version of that for my track shots.

Yes, the 70-300 is one I'd like to try out... Hopefully we can see some shots with that lens from my first track day - Putnam on the 28th.

Yes, they are from a Canon S3 IS according to the EXIF. The point of the ultra-extreme-digital zoom was confusing me.

Mort, what month is that? Or is that not a Nesba day?

July 28th Putnam - STT - I heard STT is a good starter program... and my schedule is pretty hard to get into NESBA with the kiddies and everything else.

I am signed up for Sept. 1 at BHF, and so far all I need are leathers and a trailer.
