NESBA: The MAM Rideshare Thread (8/4-5/07)

Post up here to help match up rides to/from Mid America!

With Heartland Park being closed for resurfacing, it is going to be a long dry spell for some of us to get back on the track. Post up here if you are looking for a ride to/from MAM OR if you can take another rider or two.

MAM is a great track with decreasing radius turns, increasing radius turns, balanced double apex turns, chicanes and a great front straight.

Post up who you are taking, if you want a ride, and if you have any openings. Let's get as many people out there and have a great time.

Larson's will be hosting a great cookout on Saturday night as well!

Wink Rig
Wink
Twink
GKotlin
BFly
SMR123
JKrueger

I have openings for TWO more bikes, no more openings for riders in my Excursion.

People who have expressed interest to me in going so far that DON'T have rides yet are:
BadStoltz
PaintedBlue
Gixxer6Dan
FireCat
JRSmail

Let's pony up here and get as many riders out to this event as we can. Who else wants to go or can help out?

Post up folks!

Wink,

If you have openings for two more bikes...can you put mine and someone elses in there and we will drive seperately in my truck?

If we could arrange it...maybe BFLY or someone else would let me tow his trailer with two more bikes , I can fit four in my truck so that would take care of almost everyone.

That works for me. I can't speak for BFly though. PM him and check. He'll be out dirt biking this weekend (and ACC Full on Monday), but he can check in at night.

Feel free to PM the other guys listed or anyone else that posts up to go. Sounds like we have a plan starting to come together. Thanks FireCat!

If Brian's trailer is unavailable...does anyone else have a trailer that would be free?

Anyone in the west/SW burbs need a ride? I gots room leaving Joliet no later than 4pm Friday. Return following the last session Sunday.

Split fuel costs evenly. This equates to ~$110/person for two of us. ~$75 for three of us.

Grouch,

I think if Lars and I might be down for this..we currently don't have a hook up for a ride.

I will PM him and see.

things are still up in the air with brian and the grouch so once that gets worked out i'll let you know for sure.

also, i got my buddies leathers for that weekend so no worries on that, though i might need boots and some better gloves.

I'm biking down to the Eastern KY/W.Va/Southern Ohio area to see Mama that weekend and ride the hills of my youth for a couple of days.

Life's Journey Is Not To Arrive At The Grave Safely In A Well Preserved Body, But Rather To Skid In Sideways, Totally Worn Out, Shouting "HOLY SHIT... What A Ride!"

All you have to do is follow three simple rules. One, never under estimate your opponent (mentality). Expect the unexpected (could work out in your favor). Two, take it outside(or to a table). Never start anything inside the Bar unless it's absolutely necessary. And three, be nice.
