Heartland Park Dates Added (9/22 & 23)

September 22nd & 23rd

This is going to be a great ending to the first Mid-Cen season. For those of you that aren't going to Gingerman that same weekend, Heartland Park is a can't miss track. It is awesome on a 125, a 1000, or anything in between.

If you have been there before, you know what I am talking about. If you haven't been there, make the trip. You won't be sorry! For those that have been there, the configuration is NEW! Just completed in the last couple of weeks, Turn 2 is much more of a sweeper, FAR faster, FAR safer, and there have been changes in T8 and many of the walls have been moved or removed to continue to enhance the safety and speed of this track. These changes have been made for the SCCA National Championships, and many of the safety changes were made at the request of the AMA in the hopes of AMA returning to running at HPT in the near future.

Watch for it to appear on the schedule so you can sign up!

Post up here if you are interested in going. I am looking to rideshare and fill up my trailer and Excursion for the trip.

Just ask Burrito if it is worth the trip, it was his first track!

I don't think so, you'd have to ask Ron.

HPT........

+1 on everything Wink said. The track is an absolute blast. I can't even imagine how much more fun it's going to be the new config. I'm getting all antsy just thinking about it. More playtime at HPT is well worth the drive. DO IT!

oh and dont forget to stay on the inside of turn 12...

edit: Check this out for the new config... http://www.justracing.com/features/2..._park_reconfig

I may be in Kitty Hawk, NC that weekend with the woman. If not, I'll consider it.
