Post BHF 9/1 -9/2 and Chili Cook Off

I must say that was quite the experience and am happy I had the privilege to ride with such an awesome group of people and hang out with them in the pits. Had some great chili Saturday evening and was psyched to see so many people come out.

I think they raised enough money for 4 air fences Thanks everyone for a great dinner and a good sweat some of those were SPICY! Congratulations Matt on your bump to 'A' and your 1st place pot of chili.

Also a congrats to Kim for her bump to 'I' and thanks for showing me some lines.

Wink, Nicole, Greg, and the others, thanks for all the advice, I am definitely psyched to be riding with NESBA!

Great people and an awesome weekend!

What a great weekend. We couldn't have asked for better weather!!! Of course we could have done with less mosquito's

My lap times are still consistent and slow, But congrats to Kim, Matt, and Bobby for their respective bumps, it was a busy weekend in our camp. Oh and congrats to Matt also for winning the chili cookoff!
To all my nesba family, thanks for making it a great weekend.

Oh and yes I took over 500 pictures, they will be uploaded in a few days.

Finally made it up to Blackhawk to see what it was all about. Not riding but just snapping some pics and walking around. Couldn't stick around too long because I had other stuff going on that I had to do. But it was nice to see the usual suspects. Looks like a great time. Thinking next year I may have to actually try it out (be warned my bike and I will need to bum a ride.) Am looking forward to possibly being the slowest rider ever to grace the track. Was really impressed with the pace, the B group looks very spaced out and the control riders looked like they were really helping people out a lot.
Wow were the advanced guys quick. They made it looks so easy. The folks on the corners were super cool. I met an older guy on turn what ever the hell who invited me to actually move in a bit closer since I only had a little digital camera. Very cool.

Awesome weekend! Thanks to everyone along the way that helped me get to where I am and thanks for the bump Wink. Running in "A" was a lot of fun especially the train during the second session after lunch (even if I was the continually backward moving portion of the train ).

Friday night was a ton of fun and I'm not sure, but mopar apparently breaks chairs for no reason...

Congrats and a big thank you to everyone that came out for the chili. There were a lot of tasty pots of chili and a lot of money raised for a great cause! Thanks for getting it going Todd and Mike! To those who thought they could best my recipe, I guess you'll have to wait till next year

Congrats on the bumps Kim, Bobby, and Danch!

Jesse and burrito, good luck gettin' the bikes back together! just caught the end of your crash during the last session burrito, looked like you were fine, hope your bike was alright.

Awesome time as usual!

Went to BHF after a long Spring Green ride, unfortunately I didn't get to watch any races, but got there just in time to enjoy the chili and meet a bunch of cool people. Good time.

Great weekend everybody! Congrats to Kim, Bobby, Matt, and Dan on their bumps! Congrats to Matt on his chili cook-off king championship and to all of NESBA for raising enough money for 4 air fences.

Had a good time riding with Alex, Matt, Eric, and the rest of the A group for my first full advanced weekend. Big thanks to Eric for the advice and special thanks to Hix for sharing the love in the bus stop.

My favorite session was the 2nd on Sunday when I got sucked into going out first and ran like a scared rabbit. Held everybody off for 4-5 laps until uber-fast orange ccs expert guy shot by me going into 6 and then proceeded to look back at me on the back straight like "are you coming?" and then took off like I was standing still. I was running low:18s that session too.

Kim and I had an awesome time pitting with everyone. Note to everyone: Do not beat Nolan at bags or he will try to run over the cornhole game!

Congrats to Kim, Bobby, Matt, and Dan on their bumps as well! Nice work guys and gals.

No one told me Kim got bumped this weekend! I went to CR in I on Sunday, I see Kim! I ride behind her for 3/4 a lap, and she pits in! Why do the ladies always run away from me!

It was a great weekend.
