Weather was great Sunday, and I had blast rolling around on the Duke. I had to cut out early for a number of reasons, but good times nontheless!

I wasn't the slowest, thats about all I can say! The tires on the duke were crappy Dun-slop street tires that were sliding all over. Every hot lap the front would push through 1 and 2. The rear would step out a bit too. With the tires the way they were, I didn't even bother mounting the timer. I knew if I had a timer, I'd push for better time and the Dun-slops would put me on my ass and scratch up the shiny new bike, so I said fuhgetaboutit. I did have a great time chasing Hernan and some other cats around

Thats said, I'm really surprised how well it handled since its bone stock except for a gel seat and some frame sliders. Next week it goes into MCC for a Akra Ti slip on thats good for +10hp/-20lbs and maybe a gearing change. I also picked up some practically new 2CT's to replace the Dun-slops.

First time at Putnam. What a great track. Had a great time and great meeting everyone.

To show you what you get when the "A" train comes to Putnam... Pic 1 is Mopar left turns and Pic 2 is Mopar right turns.

I agree with Mopar, those last 2 A sessions on Sunday were the most fun I've had on the track. I also managed to knock 2 seconds off of my time (and a lot of the front bits off the bike as well, but we won't talk about that ). Can't wait to see Matt's video from those sessions.

I think there needs to be a mandatory inverted starting grid for at least 2 of the afternoon sessions in A. That was awesome with that train goin' round the track and the passes people were puttin on each other! very good time.

Thanks for the tow those last couple laps Hirsch! you got me down to 1:18.1 which is way faster than I had gone out there before. sucks to se ya go down, but at least you're ok.

I'll try to get the videos edited and up tonight or tomorrow depending on motivation and time. Should be some good shots though!

As I was sliding on the front tire coming through turn 9, there was a voice in the back of my head. "Come on you Sally are you gonna let a little tire sliding slow you down."

It was very strange.

Missed you out there buddy!

that bike turns in SOOO well now thanks to a suspension set up from Super Dave only problem is when you run a super-soft front and Putnam, it goes to crap right away!

Thats not a track for super soft tires! You know that. I started off with a medium. When the front started sliding around, I changed my shorts and a front tire to soft.

Maybe if Stive spent less time posting under my account and more time processing video he could have had those posted already
