2008 NESBA ride shares

For 08 we adding new to us tracks in addition to the old standbys. Think of it as a adventure, and a chance to meet NESBians from other regions.
We try to leave early on fridays to allow for no pressure travel and set-up at the tracks. For the trip to Barber, we leave thursday evening and 2 step it allowing plenty of time for sight seeing. (the museum, space camp.. whatever)
Typically we camp at the tracks and make it all inclusive, food and fuel trip for simplicity and $ saving

Those are locked in- PAID dates. I suspect we will be adding a few more.

I am looking forward to the trips east. Nelson and Beaver are about the same distances as MAM and Topeka respectively. (maybe a little less) We really are in a great central location.

Is the Babrber trip, the annual CLSB/NESBA trip that I'm always reading about?

If so, I plan on making the trip this year. Could you PM me with the details/cost? I need to know how much money to save up.

I don't know that there ever was a official trip. Some head down early in the year to start the season.

I will have to check my notes, because I do not remember the $ figure right now. It is worth it, whatever it was. LOL

Sign up and send my brother a email. He handles the logistical details

I went with these guys last year and remember that expenses came out to be under $100

Thanks Jon.

BTW newbies are more than welcome. Traveling to the outer tracks can be beneficial because there is often a high CR to member ratio and low track density.

Incorrect, they DO have the answers. More than they realize and they are both great all around guys as well. These guys help everyone and anyone at the track. They are an inspiration to be around. I can't imagine how great NESBA would be if everyone in the paddock was like these two guys.

Aww shucks... we do what we can because a track day is more than the time spent riding

group hug.. LOL

PS. Mike (aka hotwings) said you guys get to go to the front of the line for wings and other cooked up things. Sucking up has its benefits

So come on, lets get some riders and plant the mid____ flag. I think we can take Nelson in Ohio, and Barber is in our timezone.

Everyone is so hung up on Gratten. There are so many great tracks that we go to! Open your mind and try something new! Go to Barber. It's a motorsports enthusiasts dream!

Be assured that when your booking with 5Axis Entertainment and Transportation Inc, you'll be well taken care off. They're very talented with a wrench and the knowledge pool is deep. In addition to getting to the track, utilize the time to learn from them. Ask questions about pro racing, wrenching, riding or anything related to motorcycles. If you change their tires and top off their fuel tanks, they may make some time for home made appetizers!

I traveled with them this past weekend and as usual it was fun and well planned out.
