how does MAM compare to the other mid-central tracks? would it be a better idea to wait and make the longer drive to heartland or hastings?

MAM is closer than HPT or MPH. It is also more technical than either in my opinion, turn 3 is a corner that will take about a lifetime to master I estimate. I would highly recommend MAM for skills development, it has a fast straight away with hard braking and some double apex trickery as well. MAM is also a place that will test your suspension setup because it is kinda on the bumpy side.

Of course, I'm an addict. All track is good track. I recommend hitting them all if possible.

Have fun! The mid central peeps are a great group. Make sure you hit up the dinner in the pits on Saturday. Tell the Larsons I say hi and tell Jamie boyle he's slow

Great track with a interesting sets of combination corners that have different solutions, depending upon your strengths and weaknesses. Meaning a few may have no "right" line or solution and are dependent on the circumstances. I wish we were going to MAM this year but the schedules just are not lining up for us.

I am looking forward to getting back to HPT (my favorite) and trying hastings this june.

Hasting was a real blast to ride. I won the Expert GTO race out there last year and just fell in love with that place. I wish it was not so far away!
