The first Blackhawk weekend in June is always a blast. Especially Saturday night camping. Who else is in?

I'm in both days. Hopefully the bike will be in some sort of assembled shape by then. I've ordered parts, so I hope they all come in.

I don't want to ride it naked again if I can avoid it.

Thinking about it. Trying to figure out whether or not I want to spend the money on a 1 piece suit or buy a new jacket with matching track pants. I think I might get more use out of the 2 piece if I do. I swear I'm going to do a track day this year.

Blackhawk is also a great spectator track for newbies interested in checking out the trackday scene. You can view every corner from the infield. Better yet- sign up for the intro sessions and experience the fun for yourself.

Heal up quick Drama- you're not getting out of riding with me this season that easy!

Would it be appropriate to ride there for Sunday's intro sessions??

riding anytime is appropriate. If the intro is offered on Sunday (and it is) you can and should use it.

as for the trailer...rent a uhaul(its like 20 bucks a day) and buy some straps...assuming you have something that can pull a trailer, or borrow something form friend/family.

i have used this trailer b4 and it gets the job done: http://www.uhaul.com/guide/index.asp...pentrailer-5x9

they also have a motorcycle trailer, its 15 bucks a day per the website, but it has less availability (there are fewer of them around in general) http://www.uhaul.com/guide/index.asp...ing-motorcycle

A lot of people do that for their intro day. Its usually not a problem. If you can manage a ride share it would be easier to make a decision to ride the whole day. If you do ride up, you are welcome to pit with Kim and I.

Okay my suit is coming in today and my boots should hopefully be coming today as well. Both were on closeout special. If both fit then I will be in on June 6. Crossing my fingers.
