I heart Putnam. Tons of grip and great layout. Who's in?

I have kind of a stupid question about Putnam. I have only been to BHF and ACC and never camped at the track. From what I understand so far, they don't allow camping at the track and many people go to the Cloverdale campground. Does it mean that you have to set up the pits (canopy/unload bikes) in the beginning of the day and pack it all up in the end of the day and similarly set up/pack up camp (tents etc) at the campground? Or do you guys leave canopies/bikes at the pits overnight? Thanks!

People leave bikes there, but either lower the canopies to cover just the bikes, or put them away, but basically you "clean up" your pit, and set it up in the morning, with the exception of bikes.

Fracker, You can leave your van at the track and catch a ride to the campground with someone. I have room in the tent if you need a place to crash.

Thanks! I might have to take you up on that... Why I was concerned is that if I would have to take the bike with me, then I would have to unload it at the campground to be able to sleep in the van. We'll see
