WEEKEND Trackday at Road America

Check out the schedule.....NESBA has secured a WEEKEND at Road America!!!!

http://www.nesba.com/Info/TrackEvents.htm

Traditionally, weekend trackdays at Road America have been impossible to get....believe me, we have asked repeatedly.

In 2010, NESBA will have the only weekend motorcycle track day at Road America. Please make sure you sign up early for this date, I'm sure it will be popular

Dude...you need to race more often Last two years up there have been 60+ degrees.

We actually did our research on this one. The average high temp is 60 and the low temp is 40 for those days. The last couple years have been over 70 at the end of April.

This is gonna be a FUN weekend!!

Hey, I did two days at Road Atlanta in 34-40 degree weather last month. It wasn't all that bad, and like Road America, that track rocks. Well worth dealing with the cold to ride at Road America.

Unfortunately, that's the week I'm hauling all my crap back from California

I wont be riding these dates, But if i can score a day or 2 (an entire weekends almost unheard of at sbux) then ill be up specating this. Never been to Road America sounds like a blast though.

Everyone needs a healthy way to relax, mine Church, and two wheels, a stretch of winding road, and a pipe loud enough to give me headaches and make squirrels explode. (Fixed curtousey of PWRMAD)

Nothing is impossible the second we say ill try your already admiting you can be defeated, and the second you say i cant or its to hard youve already failed.

Yes, you can have fun in the free Intro/Novice sessions. Details here: http://www.nesba.com/Info/Intro.htm

Yep, you'll have so much fun that you will come off the track after the second session, whip out your credit card, and sign up for the rest of the day, or weekend!

The free Intro/Novice sessions are the first two sessions of the day in the Beginner group.

If you sign up for the Beginner group for the day, you will be absolutely flying out there by the end of the day, and it will take a few days for the grin to wear off!

Time will tell. Trackday in the middle of WI in April??? Chances are antifreeze will be needed.

BTW from 2000 - 2005 I don't think the weather got above 40 degrees racing at RA in April

Can you? OMG! Find me when you get there, I'll show you the lap of your life! This is an AMA track. In our backyard! One of the fastest tracks in North America if you choose to crack that throttle open.

Road America should be on everyones list! It's so neat to ride an AMA track. Your riding around going through these gorgeous sponsor painted bridges. The track has elevation changes. The famous right hand carousel. A long down hill right hand turn. The front straight is amazing. The first time you come through there in the tuck, you get to the bottom of he hill and as you start to ascend, your body is compressed into the tank as you start the climb. Then you come over the crest wide open in 4th or 5th gear only to grab one more gear if you have the guts!

The good thing is that the track is enourmous! It's 4+ miles long. So you typically don't have areas where you come up on a group of riders and are stuck behind them waiting to pass. It's very open. I'm definitely changing my schedule, to make this one.

Sprocket guide for ya:

Switching as you suggested would give you a higher top end, but you would lose drive out of the corner. For Road America, go ahead and make the switch.

Was lookin to see if the Briggs & Stratton Track (Kart & SuMO) Would Be Open so us Single Cyn Slow Fucks Could Be Up There As Well But It Shows No Dates for April

Still might roll up and watch ya fast fuckers

****EDIT**** - It is the 2009 Schedule - Maybe 2010 will find us all up there at the same time - That would be fun
