Wow, that stock exhaust is total garbage compared to the new one you put on. Most bikes are like that though.

Nice exhaust improvement. Is that a Reinhart? Cool Sporty as well, maybe one of the best looking HD's in decades.

Did a few other things the day i was doing the exhaust too....

-Smoked front turn signal lenses
-Rear turn signal accent rings
-Buckshot exhaust Shields
-Flush Gas Cap
-(Edit): Removed front reflectors

Here's what she looked like day of pick up.

Before I started the other day.

After...

Plan to do a coil relocation to open up the front of the bike under the tank a bit (like this)...

Got a new intake and the blackened rocker box covers ordered up (as here)..

Dam, I do like those Sportsters! That exhaust is all american thunder baby.

"includes 10 used-car dealers or auto repair shops, 11 liquor stores and bars--two of which advertise lingerie fashion shows and a third billed as a "gentlemen's club"--three cut-rate motels and one trailer park. The squat, brick municipal building is next to a currency exchange and a few steps from an adult video store. The bars open at 10 a.m. and close at 6:30 a.m."

Dyno tune done....

Stock Numbas (courtesy of CycleWorld)
"the Forty-Eight’s air-cooled, 1200cc V-Twin, which produces 61 horsepower and 66 foot-pounds of torque at the rear wheel;"

Max Power =75.35
Max Torque = 72.77

HP Increase = 23.5%
Torque Increse=10.2%

All in all, good mods, can definitely "feel" the difference. Switched over to the SYN-3 Also. going to try AMSOIL 20W50 next go around.

nice scoot bud... in the future you can run a tuner (fuel map, SERT, power comander, etc) for a tune in the future with canned maps for intake and exhaust.. cams and heads is really when you want to dyno... but never the less a dyno tune can not hurt anything...looks great and i bet it runs like a rape ape now that it can breath better!

I would normally post something about how annoying loud pipes are, but enough CLSB members have heard my Aprilia and would call me a hypocrite so you get a free pass.

The new pipes look better.
