The one I know is Ideal Ride. THey will also be able to tell you the others in the area that are good.

THere is also Windtalkers in Naperville on Ogden Ave across the street from the Nissan Dealership. I think they are a dealership though not really a shop but it is another place to look at.

There's a place in Lake Zurich called Black Sheep Customs. I know nothing about them but I've driven past it for the past decade, and I know it's there. Corner of Rand Rd. (12) and Miller Rd.

Talking chopper shop

There is a place on Ogden Ave. in Downers Grove called surfers choppers. He builds all his shit from scratch, and will even get you an Il. title for the bike. Real nice guy too. When he first opened up me and my buddy who had a Bourget checked the place out. I think he said for somewhere around $20k he will build a custom.

Also I found a 2003 PAULYAFFE with a 250rear for $50K out in Orland Park. Wish I had $25k+ to spend on a chopper!

If your really interested send me a pm. I'll talk to my neighbor(Phill Stoll from Stoll racing) and some of his guys who now ride customs and choppers and see if they have any good info for ya.

DAVID

DID I LOG ONTO CLSB OR TMZ.COM WTF???

ANyone remember Two-Wheel Tuesday a few weeks back, when they were shoiwing the custom metric choppers. Basically taking a stock Yamaha Star something and with a few mods making it a sweet as cruiser/chopper.

I just can't bring myself to buying a Harley, yet....but I need a cruiser for the street.

The Fatboy is the only HD I would consider, Ken...you ever get a price check?
