chopper

Stopped in over a Windwalker today and had a look around. They had one chopper with a back tire as wide as my Z06 rear. With around a 3 inch ground clearance, what I'd like to know is how the hell are you supposed to turn that thing? Do you just trailer it around corners or does it come with a dolly?

Slide the ass end out while burning the tire.

Have you ever seen those Boss Hoss bikes. I must have seen 100 of them down at daytona, the tire on that thing is practically a drag car racing slick.

They twist the throttle back on that thing and the ass end just walks. There was burnout marks everywhere from those guys taking off completely drunk out of the bars to go to the next bar.

HDTony.... Damn glad to meet you!

Government's view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phrases: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it.

You mean, like, get off, back into it and push with your butt?

I test rode a Boss Hoss in Sturgis last year...what a blast! Turning wasnt so much the issue as being careful with the torque of the engine...it will throw the bike side to side very easily. The new bikes use a 250 or 280mm motorcycle tire...they used to use an automotive tire...that had to be real tough to turn.

Shiny side up, rubber side down.
