I had an observation today...

Today I took the bike out for a bit, put about 80 miles on it... loved the ride, fit, feel, bla bla bla... Anyway...what I did observe was how the women react to a guy on a Harley!!! It was like.. Whoa! all smiling, waving, looking, it was prett awsome.. So it that a normal ? Harley / Cruiser responce ? Have I been missing out all these years ?

When I'm on my buddies cruiser, I get looks/comments from older people, but when I'm on my R6, that's when the girls in college town here come out to play.

When I ride my dad's HD I get alot more looks than when I am on the RC. And by alot I mean maybe 1 or 2 since I have what you would consider somewhat of a weight problem.

Gregg.......your just another lost riding buddy I like the bike, sweet colour, hate that I'll never see you on a Flat Four Run again, or tearing up the twisties on an early morning run. It's a shame that HD has the marketing genius to convince people over 40 they have to be on a cruiser and slow down, sorry off topic.

As for women and waving at you, excellent It's a bad ass bike, and the women like bad boys.

I do think that some women tend to look at sportbikes as "immature" or something.

Most likely it was just that you had no helmet on you sexy bitch. Now you just need to pat on the rear seat and seal the deal!!!!

That's right Tony, maybe it's ignorance, or maybe I haven't succumb to what manufacturers are selling in their cruiser line, love the looks, sometimes I like the sound, don't like the weight, or the "off the rack" performance. So guilty as charged. I joined this website, because I wanted to ride with "mature" sportbike riders who have genuine love for motorcycling. I've enjoyed riding with all of you, and have formed close friendships with a few. I know I'm clueless about the cruiser mentality Maybe when I grow up I'll understand
