Knucklehead Reunion 2005

Been gettin' ready for this since last month. It's a gathering of Knucklehead and old Harleys up in northern Wisconsin. Oxbo Resort just west of Park Falls, WI.. Looks like it's out in the middle of nowhere. I'll be trailoring my panhead up there with a couple of other bikes. One is a newly restored 1936 Knucklehead bobber and the other is a 1947 Knucklehead bobber. For those that don't know, 1936 is the first year for Knuckles and 1947 is the last year. My panhead, a 1949, represents the second year of panhead production. For those of you who have seen it, it's a bobber also. Some may ask what the diff is between a chopper and a bobber. Choppers usually have a cut or stretched frame and an extended front end. Bobbers are just stripped down, customized bikes. All three bikes we're bringing are examples of bobbers. I'll let you know how it turns out. I'm bringin' lot's of tools and oil.

Sounds like a good time Chuck. they are gonna have to call in a hazmat team after you guys leave to suck up all the oil from those old bikes.

HDTony.... Damn glad to meet you!

Government's view of the economy could be summed up in a few short phrases: If it moves, tax it. If it keeps moving, regulate it. And if it stops moving, subsidize it.

Just returning to the earth, what it has given to me for my enjoyment. All future generations will thank me when they're sproutin' black geysers in Wisconsin.
