Sturgis & All Points West

Sooo..is anyone else on this forum gonna make it to Sturgis this year??? I'm gonna load up the hog and point it west on Saturday 8/6. Probably be stayin' at the Chip. Seems they have some good music there (Credence, Steve Miller, Toby Keith, Disturbed, Queensryche) to name a few. I'm sure there'll be a bunch more across the street. Gonna ride the bull again this year and see how long this old dude can hang on. Besides, it's just fun hangin' out there, havin' a few cold ones and watchin the YWB's take slow rides. After a few days of that, if I'm still standing, I'll head out to the Salt Flats in Utah for Speed Week. That should be interesting to say the least. I know someone that's gonna try for a record this year on a beefed up HD. No, not me. So, if you're goin' let me know and I'll try to meet up with ya for a cool one somewhere.

As always keep it,

Slo

I'm heading out this year...this is my 6th time going. However I am going out via my Tahoe and 25ft trailer. Yes...I am trailering my bike out and I'm just fine with that...

Going with 11 other guys. I'm staying at the Super 8 in Blackhawk, SD with 6 of my friends and 5 of my other friends will be in Glenco staying in their Motorhome/coach. Love it out there...cant wait!

Shiny side up, rubber side down.

Trailering is OK. I thought about bringin' both of my bikes this year but decided to only take the Fatboy and travel light. BTW, Glencoe is just down the street from the Chip.

Ody...you have to go...It's such a good time. Plus the riding is pretty good too.

I've been going 6 yrs now and I still find new things to do. Next year we are talking about a trip to Yellowstone and also attending the rally. We'll see??

sounds like a plan to me, get the wife to take a week or 2 off and go with you guys, then get lost in the hills or sumthing.
