talk about riding in comfort! "mods to my wing"

well today out of now where from the places i ordered, i got in my Khrome Werks backrest and passanger armrest.

i gotta tell yeah this stuff is quality made. it better be for the price.

anyway, install was a breeze. i put it in the middle posistion for my back, sat on the bike, almost went to sleep.

then i sat in the rear with the backrest up, and arms on the pads, i am amazed how much room there is back there, i could also fall alseep back there.

i cant wait for my wife to get home she will want to go for a ride ASAP.

here is a couple pics then i am gonna go for a little ride.

Ken, why don't you just buy a mini-van and get it over with?

Looks good! I like how the armrest swivels for access, and it will hold her in should she fall asleep!

I like the backrest,

The wind wings are pretty pimpy as well, kinda put the breeze or keep the warm where you want it .. nice when its too hot or too cool out.

are you going to upgrade the "pre muffler exhaust chamber" or go with some different mufflers
middle of the page has some here.

Ody...like Fugit said...you gotta do the pipes. Heard them on a 'wing at Rob's Performance in Wisconsin...they sound so sweet...that flat six can really sing if you uncork it! Do the pipe...do the pipes!

I can testify to that. I did a demo ride on a Wing, and it was very surprising to see how balanced it was, and how much power it actually has. 1800cc of pure muscle with "Busa-like" handling. Maybe not quite the same as a Busa, but they DO handle well.

Just make sure you put a piece of padding on the back of your helmet, because as the wife falls asleep back there, her helmet will start hittin your from behind...Trust me on that one.

The mods look nice. Krome Werks makes some nice stuff. I've got one of their trailer hitches on the Electra-Glide.

just installed this air delfectors, my biggest complaint is the hot air that hits my legs if i stick my knees out to far.

they say this cures that and also deflects cold air and rain aswell.

ill see in a few, gotta install something else though.

so the goldwing now has wings
