anyone know if they make a shorty windsheild for the wing?

i got 2 brand new helmets in the garage that i bought for me and the wife but i am having a problem wearing it.

the windsheild blocks so much frontal air its not even funny!

ive seen like on some of the harleys like this mini windsheild wondering if they had something like that for the wing, the way i look at it is if i wear a 1/2 helmet whats the use then.

i wanna wear a full face.

so if somoene see's something pass it on.

thanks.

John mentioned that harley dealers have the tools to cut down screens and leave them with a nice edge. I wonder if any of the honda dealers off this type of service. Seems like it would be cheaper than a replacement one, the only downside is you couldnt go back, which would suck once it got real cold.

I'm sure they make something like what Tony has. I know I seen it on that custom wing they did a year or so back and heard they had good feedback on things made for that wing.

Have you tried asking a Wing Board?

I'm sick of following my dreams. I'm just going to ask them where they're goin', and hook up with them later!!

Wouldn't a dremel take care of that? Shouldn't be a big deal to cut down.

You'd have to be a surgeon to cut a lexan shield down with a dremel.

I know the HD dealership in Lisle cuts them down.

well i got the service manual, you about gotta tear the fucken engine out to get the winsheild unbolted out of the adjustable frame etc.

but i rather by one so i can swap them out for cold weather too.

if anything i am just gonna jack it down, slap on my helmet and just deal with it.

I guy at work used to work for national cycle in the production dept. Special router bit to cut, and then a fixture with a torch that melted the edges to clean them up after the form and cut. Just FYI nothing useful here.

heres an idea. Drill holes so it would look like a hockey mask. And you will have all your ventilation.

All you have to do is follow three simple rules. One, never under estimate your opponent (mentality). Expect the unexpected (could work out in your favor). Two, take it outside(or to a table). Never start anything inside the Bar unless it's absolutely necessary. And three, be nice.
