If you could take off for the day and stay overnight and come back the next day...

Where would you go and why??

I'm on a cruiser so remember that

I'm sick of following my dreams. I'm just going to ask them where they're goin', and hook up with them later!!

I would ride out towards Iwoa and follow the river north or maybe hea up into Wisconsin for a nice day of rideing. The dragon would be fun but I don't know about taking a cruiser there. I'm sure it would still be fun but thats a little more than a day ride there and back. You would want to spend more time there. Why not head over into Iowa towards J&P Cycles and check out the motorcycle museum. That would be a cool trip there, ride a bit, spend the nite and then come home.

Life's Journey Is Not To Arrive At The Grave Safely In A Well Preserved Body, But Rather To Skid In Sideways, Totally Worn Out, Shouting "HOLY SHIT... What A Ride!"

All you have to do is follow three simple rules. One, never under estimate your opponent (mentality). Expect the unexpected (could work out in your favor). Two, take it outside(or to a table). Never start anything inside the Bar unless it's absolutely necessary. And three, be nice.

As people said above. Southwestern Wisconsin kicks ass for county roads and there are some nice bed and breakfeast places to stay.

Rachel and I are leaving for the Smoky Mountains Thursday night or early Friday morning. We are going to ride the entire Labor day weekend down there. You are more than welcome to come with Cheyenne.

I would ride to Detroit, following the Lake. Go to Windsor at night. Next day check out the Detroit Zoo, they have the worlds best polar bear habitat, then ride home.

BAHHHHHHHHHHH! Skip the wedding, lets go riding! Would you rather be riding your motorcycle through some of the twisties roads in the country or cooped up in a reception hall with a tie tied too tight.

Cheyenne, let me know what you decide for next weekend. I might be down for a good 2 day road trip. I got nothing planned.

A good flat4 pre-run would be cool, or even bomb it around lake michigan in 2 days would also be cool

I'm sorry, but does anybody else think it's inconsiderate to have your wedding on a holiday weekend?!? I mean, how important do you think you are anyway? It really screws people up who might want to do something COOL that weekend.

And yeah, we were talking about in the near future just running around SW and central Wisconsin for a weekend...There are some really amazing roads in the areas Brian was speaking of...And I'm sure there are strip clubs in there too. These towns have no where else for a girl to find employment.

+1 to much of what others have said Chey. A run over to the Mississippi always offers some great roads. No lack of topless entertainment in East Dubuque either.

You could also head into north central WI. Lots of great county roads in the top half of the state & plenty of nudie bars there too. Weasel's in Eagle River is worth the visit!

You could also head up into Wisconsin and take your time heading towards the Milwaukee area. Catch the Lake Express, http://www.lake-express.com/htmdocs/...ess/index.html, and end up in Michigan. You could check out the Harley plant. That place is huge. The ferry crossing is 2.5 hours on the express and there is a slower ferry that takes about 4 hrs to cross but I'm not sure where you can pick that one up at or where it lets you off. Here are the prices for the express. Not bad if you do a one way into Michigan and ride home around the lake.

2006 Ticket Prices & Schedule
Lake Express will begin sailing on Saturday, April 29, 2006.
2006 Sailing Fares Category One Way Round Trip
Adult $55 $95
Seniors (66+) $55 $85
Child (5-17) $30 $50
Infant (0-4)* FREE FREE
Premier Class $70 $130

Vehicle $65 $130
Trailer - up to 8' $65 $130
Trailer - over to 8' See below See below
Motorcycle $40 $70
w/ sidecar or trailer $55 $100
Bicycle $10 $20
Pet Kennel $7.50 $15
(the first price is one way, the second price is round trip)

Another really nice ride for the weekend would be to head up to Norway Michigan. It's about 2 hrs north of Green bay. The sign says welcome to the South West UP. I was just up there a week ago. They have some really nice roads. Just watch out for the deer and the wild turkey. I almost hit some of those. From the Chicago area by car it's about 5.5 hrs to get up there so a sport bike could make it in alot less time. Not sure about a Hardley Davidson tho. I'm sure whatever you do you'll have a good time. Let us know what you decide and have a good weekend when you're gone.
