Sneak Peak

I was planning on waiting a while before starting to build another bike, but I got struck by the bug and started working on this.

XS650 bobber There is a ton of work still to do but at least it looks like something. Plus for the sport of it I started off with a bike that hadn't run in 20 years.

Cool!

Been working on an H1 for seven years. Might have it race ready this year. Probably not, but I might.

Are those RD wheels?

Cool Start! I loved my XS650 and tried to make it look 'flattrack' when I had it, maybe I should go back and revisit that idea . . . . .

Paint the wheels black though, the gold is distracting.

good luck!

Don't be, I'm married have no friends and keep from killing people by spending every minute that I'm not at work, working in my garage. I'm just surprised I'm not divorced...............................yet.

Looks good, kinda like an old Trumpet bobber. Where's the frame from? It looks new.

Good eyes. Frame is a new one off built for a springer front end. If I like the bike and keep it I will put a -2 big twin springer on it.

I'm kinda using this bike to get my skill up so when I can afford it I can build a generator shovel or flathead 45. Dream would be a pan or knuckle in a VL frame but I digress.

*disclaimer* this is a work in progress, if you feel the need to point out something wrong just remember I already know!

Thanks its getting there. I am trying to take my time because I have a bad habit of finishing projects really fast and getting bored. Then I need to start a new project $$$$ The wife doesn't like that so much.
