Suzuki M109R Opinions

Anyone ever ride this bike? I'm kinda thinking either the 109 or the Warrior. I like how the Warrior looks in all black but I guess it's down on power from this bike.

Nolan1300 has a M109 and likes it alot. Ask him about it.

Personally, I am a big fan of the Warrior.

That 109 is SICK! Not sure about riding it though. At first glance it looked like a Honda VTX F but with all kinds of aero looking stuff on it.

The M109 is a huge bike, but nice. I personally would go with the Warrior

I'm sick of following my dreams. I'm just going to ask them where they're goin', and hook up with them later!!

We have chromed and polished a half dozen of these already. I am not partial to cruisers but this is probably the only one I would actually own. 240 rear tire and fast as hell. Pretty sweet!

I like my M109 a lot. Its fun for a big power cruiser. Its balanced and handles well at both high and low speeds. It has an inverted fork and GSXR style brakes. The riding position is very aggressive with forward hand and foot controls. The styling is very aerodynamic and is a take-it or leave-it kinda look. Guys who prefer the classic cruiser look usually go for the warrior or vtx. I've owned a vtx1800 and the m109 definitely handles better in the turns. I've test drove a warrior and it felt lighter and more nimble but also felt down on power to both the vtx and m109. The warrior following is huge though and there are tons of mods. I've ridden with a couple of modified warriors that seemed just as fast if not faster than my stock M109. What it boils down to is whether you really like the complete package off the showroom floor cuz you can make any of these bikes faster if you got extra $$$. I'm happy with the speed but I have the gixxer for real corner carving.

yeah I'm in the same position that you are in, I like both bikes just about equally and I guess if I had the money for another bike I would consider things a little bit more.

I will say that the headlight on the M109R has to grow on you a little bit but for 2008 suppose to be some different variants on the bike one being a headlight like the rest of the boulevard line
