Baby got new Goodies!

We took a ride up to da' Grove, caught up with some old acquaintances, then stopped on the way home for dinner, then came home and swapped out my brake lines and speakers...

Out with the old stockers... in with Hog Tunes (amplifier should be here tomorrow or Tuesday... even without it, they are noticeably clearer/louder.

Off with my 10-year-old rubber brake lines, and on with a set of reduced-diameter, kevlar lines (stock for '08 and later). Brake lever feels like a sportbike!

Job was done in less than an hour.

This is the first step of the planned series of upgrades for the Barge. Next step is replacing the '99 fork legs with '02 or later legs (larger axle), replacing the stock, single-piston calipers with the new Brembos and possibly an '09 front wheel.

In case for some odd reason you didn't know, just remember that the 08 and later axles are metric.

HOG Tunes and New Brakelines are a definite NEED!!

I had them both and braking was night and day with the new, but I went SS instead.

I'm sick of following my dreams. I'm just going to ask them where they're goin', and hook up with them later!!

Course, I could have posted too, but WTH. I thought I'd get flamed for posting about an AHDRA event.
