On the Road Again!!!!!

Finally got it running again. New starter gears and chrome cover. New plugs. New gas. And, a new throttle cable!!!! Oh, also, an extra right leg donated by a friend for a few minutes.

For the newbies around here, it's a 1949 HD Panhead bobber.

The fact that you rock a '49 Panhead Kicker, well, I will wait in the ladies room now with the rest of the HD Silly Nannies

That bike is sweet, Chuck!

Never a bad time to climb... unless the weather is really horrible, and then you climb inside!

No oil pissing since I had the bottom end re-done. I do push a little out if the bike sits without being run for a week or two. This occurs when the oil gets past the check valve in the oil pump and ends up in the bottom end. When the bike is then started the oil is pumped back to the tank and some of it is blown out of the breather hose. Just it's way of giving back to Mother Earth what she had given to it. That's the way it was done in days of old when bikers were bold.
