Just took this quiz and I was a bit surprised at the results.

It does influence slightly who I'm considering voting for.

Ron Paul 46.8%
Newt Gingrich 40.1%
Obama 40.1%

Obama was in the lead till the last few questions. And honestly, I had to answer none of the above a few times because I'm not well versed in many subjects (same as *most* Americans) and none of the available answers sounded good to me.

I understand that because they are piss poor candidates, prof. hawking

For energy? Nuclear, cars go electric with standard battery size for instant replacement (kinda like all gas is the same across the country). Ethanol subsides go away along with farm subsidies for food production.

Food is expensive and its time the real economic costs are realize - this will probably help with obesity in the nation.

For gay marriage? govt shouldn't be involved, its a civil union for everyone, its just a contract

Immigration?

Afghanistan? We don't have a choice but to stay, if anything we need more troops and resources

Health care? Its a public good and should be handled like Sweden. If not that then at least abolish regulation that stops cross state shopping. I would also try to take away healthcare from the employment picture.

Climate Change is real. You can have your own opinions on cause, you can't have your own facts. Cap and Trade is a poor system. Total cost ownership (cradle to grave) is a more accurate way to disperse fees for any type of emission.

Taxes: flat sales tax, this would reward people for saving more. There would be exceptions for foods and first home purchases. Also the first 10K (this would be a formula tied to inflation) of the first car purchases will be exempt and so on to now burden minimum wage citizens. This will erase the IRS instantly.

As usual your reading comprehension skills are quite poor, something many of us have noticed in other threads.

Your ideas are close, if not the same, as most of those listed on the quiz.

You can go back to your corner, now. We're done with you.

3 - Romney 50.1

I've been leaning most toward Gingrich for a variety of reasons, but I'm also impressed by Santorum's (and to a lesser extent Bachman's) handling of foreign policy questions and Romney's "reality check" on US-China trade relations.

Huntsman and Obama tied at 60.1%. Rummy boy was at 53 and doesn't have a prayer of getting my vote.

Right now Da Prez still gets my vote by a long way.
