Wife hits husband with SUV after fight over Wisconsin recall election

CHIPPEWA FALLS, Wis. – A Wisconsin woman sent her husband to the emergency room after she hit him with her car during a heated argument over the Wisconsin recall election.

According to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, 36-year-old Jeffrey Radle was hospitalized with head, neck and back injuries Tuesday after he tried to prevent his wife from leaving their Chippewa Falls, Wis., home to vote in the Wisconsin recall election Democratic primary.

Radle tried several times to block Amanda Radle, 30, from leaving their home in her Dodge Durango, at one point even climbing onto the hood of the car. After being nudged several times, Radle was struck when he tried to stop his wife from swerving around him.

Mike Radle said Tuesday that his brother was in stable condition and would remain in the hospital overnight.

"These crazy liberal nuts are always pulling this crap," he told the Journal Sentinel, noting that both he and his brother were supporters of Republican Gov. Scott Walker.

Amanda Radle later reported the incident to police, though it was unclear if she did so before or after voting.

Chippewa Falls Police Chief Wendy L. Stelter said the couple is believed to be separated and had had previous run-ins with the cops.

"This certainly raises it to another level," Stelter told the paper. "To think that people would become that distraught over an election is very concerning."

Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett didn’t get much sympathy from a supporter last night after he conceded to Gov. Scott Walker in the Wisconsin recall election. As he was wading through the crowd, a woman came up to him and slapped him across the face.

Emotions have run high in the contentious recall election that originated with Walker’s controversial actions to curb collective-bargaining rights for private-sector workers in the state.

ABC affiliate WISN-TV shot the video and reporter Tretty Sater claimed that the woman was upset Barrett called the Republican governor while voters were still in the building casting ballots. Barrett was defeated by about seven percentage points in the recall.

This was the best one I heard...Early Wednesday morning I turned on MSNBC because on Tuesday night it was like they didn't even know there had been an election in Wisconsin...anyway there were about four lib commentators discussing the election and this one woman blamed the outcome of the election on Ronald Reagan!!!
Her premise was that because he fired all the air traffic contollers over 25 years ago that unions have been languishing and haven't been able to gain back any of their strength since then!..................Unbelievablble how they will go to such amazing lengths spin a loss and diss Ronald Reagan!!!

Not only that, they still can collective bargain on wages. Walker just eliminated cb on benefits packages for public unions.

...and he didn't touch emergency responders or the police force.
