Muslims living in fear in US/Muslims attack US Embassy

This is amusing: The homepage of CNN.com has two articles at the top. One is about how Muslims feel scared in the US, how they feel Americans look at them as a violent religion and want to dispel that myth.

Right next to that is an article about Egyptian Muslims attacking the US Embassy in Cairo RIGHT NOW! They tore down our flag and shredded it. Apparently they are upset that a film is made with the prophet Mohammed. Upon further research I found that this film is a Dutch Film. And I thought Americans were bad with geography.

Wanna dispel the myth of violence, stop being violent.

If Egyptian Muslims are violent, then US Muslims are violent. Egyptian Muslims are violent.

Therefore, US Muslims are violent.

This argument is an invalid argument as I will illustrate:
p --> q
q
-----------
Therefore p

This is called a fallacy of the converse and it is a known invalid argument.

America hates foreign policy because America hates foreigners.
Every group has been hated and ruled against at some point. During WWII the poor American Germans and Italians were heavily fucked over. The poor Japanese Americans were put in fuckin labor camps domestically. Fear and paranoia is a fucked up thing. I worked with an Iraqi (Christian) in 2000 that loved America, she risked her life leaving that fucked up country.

So isn't the real answer then at some point religion is the root of all evil? Christian and Muslim alike?

How many people have died since recorded history over a belief of a superior power and differing views?

Seems pretty pointless to me.

You cannot help the poor by destroying the rich.
You cannot strengthen the weak by weakening the strong.
You cannot bring about prosperity by discouraging thrift.
You cannot lift the wage earner up by pulling the wage payer down.
You cannot further the brotherhood of man by inciting class hatred.
You cannot build character and courage by taking away people's initiative and independence.
You cannot help people permanently by doing for them, what they could and should do for themselves.

You do realize that we started the war in Iraq and killed thousands of people in the name of whatever bull shit reason we wanted to use.

Who are the violent ones again?

We have an entire industry which profits from the destruction of others.

You better be nice to America or we will bring democracy to your country.

Every embassy should be fortified and put on alert to shoot to kill. The world should be warned that any attack on our embassy will be interpreted as an act of war and understand that there will be immediate and long term consequences.

But that wont happen because we have that pussy Obama in charge.

Ignorance or stupidity of that statement ????? Tough call.
Of course they attacked it because Obama is the president and they knew they would not get shot, because that is the primary concern of people known for being martyrs.
Not to mention that we had the largest attack on US soil that killed 3K+ people, oh wait that happen before Obama when we had a real cowboy badass that radicals respected and feared in charge...........Obama just had the guy responsible for the attacks killed. Yea, he is a wimp.

I love the arguments against Christians and Americans. That's totally beside the point, try to stay on-topic. Besides, I don't see Americans whining that the world views us as violent. We can be.

Muslims want to dispel the view that their religion promotes violence then they need to stop pulling this kind of sh*t. They killed our Ambassador to Libya! This man was a friend to the Libyan rebels, he worked with them; many of those idiot protestors wouldn't be alive if we didn't support them.

They are upset about a movie? Get out of the f*cking Dark Ages, people. I guarantee if a movie was made in Eqypt or Saudi Arabia making fun of Jesus Americans wouldn't be using rockets to attack their embassies. Those people (the attackers) are a bunch of f*cking animals.

Never a bad time to climb... unless the weather is really horrible, and then you climb inside!
