That's 15 years of trying to figure out democracy, and you expect the Egyptians to get it right in a year?

BUT...during that 15 years there wasn't anyone declaring absolute power for themselves. The basic rights that we hold dear were being honored and even though the Constitution was yet to be written and ratified we had the Articles of Confederation that held to the principles that this country was founded on.
This situation in Egypt will never become our brand of Democracy. The Muslim Brotherhood (AKA as HAMAS among the Palestinians) has control and their goal is a religious Califite that opposes any freedom or liberty and requires Sharia law...and will wage war continually to impose it worldwide.
There will come a time when even those who now support him will recognize that the support and allowance of the "Arab Spring" was the most devastating failure of the Obama administration's foreign policy and could end up being the most devastating and costly failure of any President to date!
