While I think it's important not to over react to their "sabre rattling" we need to watch them VERY closely because they can do some pretty extensive damage to South Korea and Japan in a very short time span. My real worry isn't with them...to us they're a fart in a windstorm...It's how China would react to the situation if it became necessary to take action againt NK that has me more concerned. That and my skepticism that the current administration would be up to the task of dealing with a very hot international crisis. That's pretty scary in and of itself.

They find us to be imperialistic and they don't like that we are in SK.

Remember, the Korean war did not end in a peace treaty, but rather a truce.

Okay, for conversation sake, seeing as China pretty much owns our Country as it is, if the are wiped off the Map, I see shades of a 'Fight Club Project Mayhem" here that could work - Eliminate those whole control the debit......eliminate the debit

Unless I'm misunderstanding you you're saying we should allow a war to happen so we could wipe China off the map to eliminate our indebtedmess to them?
Do you think a war with China would have us all sitting comfortably here at home doing air raid drills and suffering gas rationing and scrap drives while the war is fought half way around the world like WW2 or the Korean War?

Surely you must realize a war with China would be the most devastating conflict in the history of mankind.....it would involve the entire world .......That's why their reaction to any action taken against RNK concerns me MUCH more than anything RNK might do!

They need our money so i would think they would tell NK to sTFU and sit down or they will handle it - too much money to be lost and future money the chinese could make off us by forcing us to the gloryhole to chug their little cocks- it will put them in a world of hurt if they lost us a a consumer and we didnt pay back the debt we owe them - they have much more to lose and a hell of alot more people to feed.

As of January China hold $1,264,000,000,000 of US debt. They have plenty of our $ already.

On a more serious note, it would be a lose/lose proposition. China supports N. Korea because it keeps our eye off Taiwan, The South China Sea oil fields, same with Japan, their environmental proples, Tibet, human rights problems, etc. The have had it with Kim too.

There is nothing firm, nothing balanced, nothing durable in all the universe. Nothing remains in its original state, each day, each hour, each moment, there is change. Change is the essence of life. Embrace change as you do life. To fight change is to live in the past.

Actually, it was an armistice. However, there is very little difference between the two. A truce is usually temporary, but by definition, they are really the same.

I believe they will launch a missile, perhaps over Japan. But, I do not believe they will target any US bases.

If you ain't with us, then it's just bad news.

I'm with you on the skepticism that the current administration is up to the task of dealing with this. I'm also not sure if this would have been better handled during the first term with Killary Clinton or in this term with Kerry trying to negotiate out of this.

If they launch towards Guam or Hawaii its going to be a big shit show.

I've been to 3 bases in the area that are armed specifically with anti ballistic missiles. Huge in ground silos designed to target bullshit like this. Hopefully they work what they are designed for. No nuclear war.

North Korea's ability to strike our mainland is highly questionable...Hawaii or Alaska are unlikely but the possibility is greater they could strike those states. It's likely that their main targets would be South Korea and U.S. bases in Japan... As I said...NK is about as threatening as a fart in a windstorm... BUT...in answer to what you think, Nick... China IS absolutely capable of just as much Nuclear destruction as we are if not possibly more because we are bound NOT to use multiple warheads in any scenario...I don't think China is similarly bound.
This is only part of what makes this a VERY sticky situation that's going to cause alot of pounding migrane headaches and heart disease!

Good point...I had the same thought and came to the conclusion that I would rather see Hillary as Secretary of State in this deal!

I assure you certain scenarios have been set in place for years, and fine tuned often. Doesn't leave much for the current administration to "deal" with.

Unfortunately nope I hope im never in a position to shoot anyone tho if I had to I wouldnt lose sleep on it. Shiot my neighbor for what he is a pia but not to the point if that extreme I have found better ways to mind fuck him. The mind makes people do 8nyeresting and entertaining thing that end up being pure laughs for me. an example woukld be watching pilots uncontroled rage of jealously or trannies delusions 2 summers ago. Nothing but pure laughs and funny stories. Hell even tcm's whack job thinking is entertaining
