is this a continuation of that massage thread?

seriously though I would replace any bent parts, I'd never feel safe if they had been bent.

+1 ... replace it. Chances are the fork is compromised to begin with, plus the stress to try to bend it back into shape. Too risky.

Becky: [to Dante] OK, I'm only telling you this because we're friends, but sometimes, in the heat of the moment, it's forgivable to go ass-to-mouth.
Randal: [chuckling] Ha! I knew it.

Are you sure the fork is bent and not just twisted in the triples? It is kind of hard to bend forks................

+1 to the other comments. NEVER go for straightening on Forks. Replace them. If you're on a budget, check out http://frankmain.qpg.com/ for THE place to get aftermarket fork legs here in Chicago area.

When I bent my forks on my SV, the lower tripple also got tweaked. Try rotating the forks in the tripples and see if the they rotate freely. If not, then they are definitely bent. If they rotate freely, but it doesn't ride strait, then the tripples also need replacing.
