Good shop to take your bikes to?

Well since I'm new to the area I have to ask. And you can PM me if you don't want to hurt any site sponsor's feelings but where does everyone take their bikes if they need some work done?

My TTR and trackbike are going to need to get their forks maintained by the end of the summer so I figured I'd ask now.

Thanks

since you are in aurora, naperville motorsports just merged with Ken from superbike italia. they are located west of rt 59 metra station. There's also Scotty Ryan at trackside engineering and you can get your forks done while you are at the track.

What's the name of the shop by Route 59?

Dante: [to Randal] You never go ass-to-mouth!
Randal: [to Dante] Would you grow up!
Becky: [to Dante] OK, I'm only telling you this because we're friends, but sometimes, in the heat of the moment, it's forgivable to go ass-to-mouth.
Randal: [chuckling] Ha! I knew it.

Where I bring my bike depends on the work. For GSXR forks, I'd go with Kevin at Safety First. TSE can be more convenient, and they are a great option as well.

Racer Cafe in West Chicago is an option, too. I called Naperville Motorsports to price mounting a tire, and was quoted $35 over the phone. Total came to $52 when I picked it up. Their work might be good, but their estimating sucks.

For $52, I would have driven to your house and mounted and balanced on the spot.
