I made an impulsive addition to my garage today

Bought a 2001 CBR F4i...not sure why, it was by far the greatest of all the bikes I looked at. Has lots of things I need to fix up, starting with this horrible spray painted yellow paint job!

On the plus side, it only has 13k and the CCT is working!

Pics will come shortly...I think

Still haven't come up with pics yet for my bike, but I have regretted this purchase so far. I started sanding off the poor yellow spray paint job just to find out I have to sand off yellow spray, spray primer, some ugly red, more primer just to get to the stock colors which half of the bike doesn't have because the fairings were replaced with fiberglass. Decided to just go with good old fashion stripper and take off everything off of everything and just hit the bike with a few good coats of plastidip. Turns out the bike was lowered in the rear so my new dog bone and kick stand came in today. Once I get everything back together Corey (power hauz) is gonna help me repack the steering bearing because they feel bone dry. Some new spark plugs and some seafoam through the gas tank and I'm gonna call it a suitable bike. I'm lucky to have a lot of time off work in the next coming weeks.

Skip the plastidip and use Krylon. Many a street and track bike here have been painted with a rattle can, and look really good. I painted my F4i track bike while it was snowing and drunk and looked just fine.

I know I keep mentioning I'll post pics, but I will soon, I promise! I almost have it all painted as of today. I just need to paint the tank and put all the plastics back on. I also got my HIDs, LED mirrors, and new front turn signals installed today as well as my clear double bubble and LED turn signal relay so I don't have hyper speed flashes.
