Wow, they did a pretty good job of covering every thing.

Bike can catch fire, front brakes can fail, rear suspension can collapse or the front end lock up? Sweet.

I always "wondered" about that rear shock and where it was located.. poor design, what if you crash and the left side hits the ground.. bye bye shock (among other things).. Other bike at least the shock is away from any serious damage.

Too bad to. Such a sexy machine (IMHO). I made the mistake of going to MCC a couple weeks ago. After doing a some research I'm definitely going to let this one marinate for a couple model years to get the kinks worked out. Low end fueling sounds awful on these (some owners describing the experience as a "bucking bronco" below 6000 RPM). Others are saying it's spot on so who knows. I love Duc's but will wait to plunk down my $24K.

The more technologically sophisticated the machine, the more bugs you're likely to discover. Just wait until everyone realizes the traction control is running under Windows Vista....

There is a thread on the 1199 Panigale forum titled "Things that fell off my Panigale". LOL. Priceless. I will own one someday but the initial showing for this bike has been pretty dismal.

C'mon 2015 Panigale...

I'm not surprised. Build quality/engineering on my 1098 leaves a lot to be desired.

The Brits are so damn practical. They make a great bike. Triumph made a HUGE leap over the last 10 years. No ego, they jump on better ideas when they come along. I"m Italian and can be hardheaded at times, Ducati takes pride a step further. Look how long it took them to admit that a aluminum frame works better than a fancy carbon one.

That's why I was really surprised at people lining up to snatch these things up considering a first model year of a brand new bike. Not to mention it's a Duc so repairs/fixes will be expensive as hell once the warranty is up.

I'm still worried about my Multi's DES suspension ecu. It already went out at 600 miles new, I'm worried it will go out again once it's warranty is up.

The Ohlins-designed suspension controller in my Volvo has never worked correctly. Good luck with that!
