Tank ideas

So I finally got my new cbr painted last week with Plastidip and it looked great until someone rubbed something against it am broke off one of my mirrors and peeled off a large amount of black Plastidip on the right side exposing all the yellow I was trying to cover up. Now because I don't have so much free time to repaint it, I just ordered a new plastic kit for it. The fiberglass kit on it now is pretty low quality anyways. My question is how do I get my tank to match the kit?

Here is a link to the kit I ordered and my tank is painted a matte black right now

Best way to get it to match is stop being cheap and pay for a quality paint job.

Not the answer I was looking for. I'm a DIY lover so why wouldn't I try it myself first?

Then clean, sand, clean, prime, paint and clear the panels and tank. But if you're asking how to match the black perfectly and only paint the tank, that's a tall order. Black is a very hard color to match.

if you're a "DIY Lover" you can do all the paint prep work and then take it in to get sprayed and save a couple bucks, but pro paint is the only way to get pro results.
