Just bought my summer ride

whats up guys I just got myself a 96 bandit 600 attached is a picture. Its in nice shape but needs a bit of tlc, but parts and accessories don't seem to be too common, does any one know where I can get some cheap bar end mirrors and a replacement key? And I am also thinking of swapping out the rims with some ninja 650 ones, does any one have any advice on how to figure out if they fit? Thanks in advance

Join the kawi forums, and the bandit forums, do some research on sizing, spacing, or you may find someone who has already done a swap =]

def will keep you guys updated, as for the color combo I love the red frame but may change the body to metallic silver although current paint has red specs in it in the sun so its kinda cool. the bandit forums are not to busy but I have joined the kawi forums.

If you're still looking for bar end mirrors, I have some EMGO chrome bar end mirrors sitting in a box. $20

fitting a Suzuki wheel maybe easier.
I should add a note of caution as fitting a new wheel is not beginners work.Alignment and clearance issues are paramount.

We offer three kinds of service @ Resurrection
GOOD - CHEAP - FAST
You can pick any two
GOOD service CHEAP won't be FAST
GOOD service FAST won't be CHEAP
FAST service CHEAP won't be GOOD
and cold beer.

I'd love to help but I don't chase parts.
Please contact other forum members and supporters for parts.

Maximum-suzuki.com is probably the best source of bandit related info.

re. wheel swapping, they have countless threads relating to the issue, but most use gixxer/hayabusa replacements instead of non-suzuki brand parts.

Look, I can appreciate this. I was young too, I felt just like you. Hated authority, hated all my bosses, thought they were full of shit. Look, it's like they say, if you're not a rebel by the age of 20, you got no heart, but if you haven't turned establishment by 30, you've got no brains. Because there are no story-book romances, no fairy-tale endings. So before you run out and change the world, ask yourself, "What do you really want?"

Yea I'd definitely stick to Suzuki wheels to make it easier, unless you have the Kawi wheel laying around but it'll be more labor.
