2000 kawasaki zr-7 shock swap

Hey, so i got this 2000 kawasaki zr7 and i actually seem to like it. has 20,500 miles on it and runs like a champ still. wondering if i can easily swap in a zr1000 monoshock in there or some type of ninja shock to lift i up a bit and give it a meaner stance. Any ideas or suggestions please write.

Thanks,
Tom

Try kawiforums you might have better luck there. There's a lot of info on what works and what doesn't.

A meaner stance may look cool .... But it will change the way the bike handles and the way it uses the tires.

Now .... Quicker steering may be a good thing but it's a fine line from there to instability.

I would see what others have done.

Spring rate, shock length and valuing all need to be correct.
