What bikes have you owned?

Just got a bit nostalgic reading an article about my first bike I ever owned, the good old SV650. That SV is the bike that introduced me the CLSB family. Thought it would be cool to have folks list what they have owned over the years to current. Let's see if any ballers had an R7 back in the day, LOL

In order:
1) 2002 Suzuki SV650 (my first bike in 02)
2) 2006 Suzuki GSX-R750
3) 2009 Triumph Street Triple R (current bike)
4) 2007 Suzuki GSX-R600
5) 2011 Triumph Bonnie SE (current bike)

Too Many to list when i think back to all the little 50s, 70s, 80s, 100s, 125s 150s and such of the late 70s and 80s into the 90s where I then got into street

Sportbike: Triumph Bonneville...the original sportbike!
Years Riding: Since about 11 years after my adult teeth came in
How you found us: I tripped over ya on my way to the can!

I'll try to put this in order:
!967 Bridgestone 175 Dual Twin (my first...wish I still had this one or could find one like it for a reasonable price)
1969 Yamaha DT-1 (still have...runs good. Took 11th overall nationally in AHRMA vintage MX on it in '97)
1970 Yamaha DT-1 modified for flat track (I still have some of the parts)
1972 RT-2 Yamaha in a Champion frame flat tracker
1974 Yamaha YZ 250 engine in the same Champion frame (still mine)
1968 Harley Sprint CRTT flat track bike (I WISH I still had this one!)
1978 Yamaha SR 500 bought new...first new vehicle I ever bought...still mine.
1979 GS 850 Suzuki shafty sport tourer...fun bike...saw most of the USA from the seat of this bike. Plus I drag raced it and won a few trophies with it!
1978 KZ 400...had this one for a short time as a beater. held up quite well.
1975 RD 350...A brief stint club road racing...sold it to finance a drag bike that never got built...another one I wish I still had.
1991 Harley Davidson FXRS-Sp...with FXRT touring stuff added...still my 2 up flagship.
1967 Triumph Bonneville...I finally got the bike I wanted more than any other!
1999 TTR 250...super fun dirtbikle with electric start!
1974 RL 250 Suzuki Trials bike...you'll never know how cool trials riding really is until you try it. I like vintage trials best.
2005 Triumph T 100 Bonnville...My everyday rider. The best handling smoothest running twin cyclinder motorcycle I've ever ridden...beats out most UJM 4's in that department as well!
1967 T 100 R Triumph Tiger 500...If you've ever seen the chase in "Coogan's Bluff" you know why.
1972 BSA B 50 MX...it handles much better than the DT-1 and it's way cool being the booming 4 stroke in a field of 2 strokes at a VMX.
1972 TS 250 Suzuki trail bike (street legal)...cool for just bopping around on...great pit bike.
1993 DR 350... Bought so friends I ask can't refuse to go dirt biking because they don't have a bike...might end up a ChiVinMoto team 3 hour endurance ice bike next January.
1981 GS 1100 Suzuki...my latest race project. Soon to be debuted at 'Da Grove to be my Bracket and possibly index class drag bike!

That's all I'm admitting to on a public forum...my wife could stumble on to this!

There's a whole lotta nostalgia in this post...some of which lives on!

"Dirt is for racing on...Asphalt is for getting there" OR "Flat trackers go in deeper and come out harder... OR (With apologies to General MaCarthur) "Old motorcycle racers never die, they just slip off the groove and fade into the dust!

If you want to anger a conservative, tell him a lie. To anger a liberal all one must do is tell the truth!

See this thread: WHAT BIKES HAVE YOU OWNED? (2006 flashback edition!)
https://www.chicagolandsportbikes.com...ad.php?t=11816

Too lazy to retype it, so here goes a copy/paste from the above link:

'74 TS250 (brother #3's bike that I rebuilt and thrashed)
'78 CB750F (brother #1's bike that I rode EVERYWHERE)
'82 CB900F (sold to brother #4 and he totalled it on LSD at Hollywood Curve)
'82 CB900F (second one that I also sold to brother #4 - he kept it forever)
1989 SRX250 (bought it for the girlfriend, she was scared of it, sold it a month later for $250 profit)
1985 ZX550gpz - wiped out on and then it got stolen, all within two weeks!
1985 CBR600F (hurricane baby!) - Stolen from my roommate.
1986 ZX600F (owned at the same time as the CBR600F, great fun to switch bikes when out riding with friends.) - Stolen in front of Exit Bar on Wells!
1985 RZ350 (purchased for $500 (!) and rode the bejeezus out of. Wiped out on LSD in rush hour and this thing STILL ran great). Sold it for $750 two years later- rode hard and put away wet!
1977 RD350 - way overmodified, only ran when temps were between 67 and 69 degrees (read: tempermental). Disgusted with it, I chained it to a post at NU and sold it to some chump student there for $50.
1982 KZ750LTD - cafe bars and raised shocks for that 'flattrack look'.
1979 XS650S - cafe bars, black shocks. Another flattrack experiment. Paid $100 for it, sold it for $750 5 months later.
1978 CB550F - Paid $500/Sold $500. Fun bike with LOUD pipes.
1989 NT650 - Honda's Underappreciated Hawk. One of the few gray ones around . . . GREAT BIKE.

1992 Ducati 900SS - Only bike I ever bought new. First 900SS ever to roll into Banzai in Libertyville and I bought it before we even opened the box (we didn't know if it was black or red, half fairing or full....) Great bike, but I rammed this thing into a curb at 3am after a hard night of partying. The following year I destroyed a timing belt and it ate a piston. Wheelies, Stoppies, Canyon Carving, what an awesome bike, I thrashed this thing right out of the box and I still have a soft spot for this bike.

1989 Honda NT650. Back to the Hawk again, this time a common Red one. Rode this for almost 10 years. Corbin Seat and TBR pipes are the shizzle!

Currently bikeless, but am contemplating another flattrack special or other 'standard' naked bike.

Oh, and over the years, I've probably ridden over 1,000 different motorcycles (8 years test riding bikes at Redline cycle and 2 years riding them at Banzai in libertyville)
