Fellow motorcyclists

I recently moved from San Jose, CA to the Chicago area and I need motorcycle friends! I have 2 bikes at the moment, a 2000 zx6 and a 1998 cb750. I live in Berwyn and am hoping there are some more exciting roads than the 290 or the 55. If any one wants to ride or wrench together let me know, I'm looking forward to being part of the sportbike community here!

Thanks for the welcome.
Never done a track day, but would totally be in for a group ride. Where do we ride around here? Any good road recommendations?

Head his advice there are no good roads in IL nothing I would call very fun atleast let alone want to ride them very often, travel to Indiana and or Wisconsin

go time traveler style and go back in time, fuck his grandma, then shoot forward in time and then fuck his mom. Then return back to present state and call him a the product of two incest whores and hes your son and show video of you plowing the both members of his family. .

S'up and Shit - San Luis Native and know "Joecie" well

My sportbike days are long gone but a few old and broken down track fucks roll Cruisers an such here now so if you ever ant to tag along, we find a few back country roads on Sundays now and again - That CB750 would fit in nicely

Thanks for the welcome everyone.

jrock - I joined that group on facebook (I think). Hope I can make that ride, but I think the GF has us going to a wedding that weekend... I'd rather ride.

Bug - let me know the next time you guys are riding. Back country roads are right up my alley! And the cb750 is a great bike - sporty enough to still be fun, but comfy enough to want to be on it for longer than 1 hour. I was supposed to sell the ZX6 when I got the cb750, but the ZX6 is stupid fun and I can't bring myself to sell it!

Anyone want to ride Thursday or Friday?

I will have to remember to post one up or hit you up on PM as typically our group leader (he knows the roads better than the rest of us fucks) sends out a text when he has been drinking on Sat Night and if he remembers or is not deep into the previous nights piece of ass, he'll roll us out about 10a on a Sunday

My shit box is still in Rehab getting back on her feet so not sure when she will be ready for the road (Stan, quit reading this and fix my shit....fucker)

Welcome to Chicagoland. If you're willing to put some miles on there are a few good places to enjoy in Illinois. Out along the Mississippi and up into Galena in the western part of the state...If you want to get a taste of how we've been doing it midwst style for many moons you could check out the Peoria Grand National TT the weekend of August 10 and 11 (races on Sunday) by heading west to IL 47, South through Yorkville to IL 71 and take 71 to and through Ottawa to where it ends at IL 26 which will take you along the Illinois river to IL 116. Turn right on 116 and stay on it through East Peoria across the river and through Peoria and it will take you to the PMC track. On race day all you have to do is follow all the other bikes. It's a fantastic ride and the races are amazing...been running steadily since 1947!
Also...The Rockerbox motorcycle street festival/show/rally in Milwaukee is coming up the first weekend in August...I'll be posting an invitation to join our ride to that in a few days. You can ride what you want but, your older Honda would fit in quite nicely.
There's actually a very active and diverse motorcycle scene here than some would have you believe and there are some great places to ride not all that far away.
Watch for my post about the Ride to Rockerbox.

"Dirt is for racing on...Asphalt is for getting there" OR "Flat trackers go in deeper and come out harder... OR (With apologies to General MaCarthur) "Old motorcycle racers never die, they just slip off the groove and fade into the dust!

If you want to anger a conservative, tell him a lie. To anger a liberal all one must do is tell the truth!
