My Latest Toy

Well, it's been a while since I posted anything here but I have been watching! And since I bought a new toy I thought I would get back in the groove.

My last 4 bikes have all been sport bikes and I have loved them all but since I got my first one my wife quit riding with me. Says they are to uncomfortable. It has also come to my attention I am getting to old and fat to ride them anymore so I found something more suited to my spreading midsection.

It's a 2002 BMW K1200RS. Nice power and it still handles well enough to keep me from falling asleep.

You can pick any two

Congrats.

What does the wife think? Is it a much improved riding position? Will she be joining you now?

Antilock brakes, heated grips (Me Likey!) and electronic cruise control along with the hard bags.

Thanks. Yes, the riding position suites my current body shape much better. It's a lot like my old Suzuki 1100 Katana though it handles better.

Deb went for a short ride with me to out to dinner. It was pretty chilly out so we kept it short but she was pleased.

It's the kind of bike that makes ya look at the horizon and ask yourself "I wonder what's beyond it?"

Looking forward to riding with you next season too!
