Champion Cycle Chicago

Did Champion go out of business over the winter with my bike in storage? Been trying to call them for 3+ days to schedule pickup, and no one ever answers.

Hey Now - I bought a few bikes from there as back in the day, when CCC was right up Western, Julio from Champion HATED losing to Jerry and would NOT be under priced - Both my SV (street) and TL were bought that way - Would never get a bike served there but for buying new, they could not be beat on price in the City - Been over 10 yrs since I set foot in there but those cats could cut a price and move a bike like no ones business

I have a soft spot for them. When i was a little kid they sold my parents a Yamaha 125 dirt bike that needed some work for little money. 1st full size motorcycle I ever had.

I remember thinking I was big time when it came time for a rebuild next season and I put a 175 cylinder on it

I bought my first sportbike from them way back in 1985. I hope they burn down now. Worst dealership ever. I've had more BS interaction with their service department bad mouthing my work than I can take. A customer of mine took his bike in there for quick service and they started talking about how we did something wrong blah blah blah and it needs to be handled. Customer calls me, and I promptly call the service department and talk to the new hack giving customer this info. He quickly proceeds to backpedal while apologizing to me. Happens way too much over there. Most dealers don't need to bad mouth other dealers to get business, but they have always done that to me and other dealers too. They need to go under and give up already. They lost all their franchises and are now just independent. When you have shitty service, shitty parts people, and overpriced used bikes, it doesn't look good. Good riddance.
