1979 Supercross from Daytona

Good video of old school SX. Back in the day Hannah was my idol. It is funny to see them at Daytona having to actually ride across the paved pit lane. Also funny to see a young Dave Despain.

Take care and ride safe,

Hannah was the man but I still had the poster of Ricky "BadBoy" Johnson on my wall as a kid

He was my hero growing up- The Battles he threw down (along with Hurricane, The O-Show, Mago, etc etc) were to this day some of the best IMHO

"Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming WOW, what a RIDE !!"

I remeber watching that race on tv, i went out riding right after that and tried my best to move my 78' YZ80 like Hannah Bear! That track was rough as shit - did you see how shitty the suspension was, rebound that could pogo you to the moon!
