RV and RD go at it

I notice how RV leaves a couple feet on the outside for another rider even though he had the inside line and COULD cut the other guy off. That's clean racing.

Thats called "Maturity" and knowing that he could have thrown it in and risked taking both out and losing (20) + points, or let up, let the faster RD by and only lose (3) pts and still finish 2nd - RV is a pro

It was a fun race to watch and RD is just a machine, lap after lap

I never understood the Rev Limit Bounce in Mid Air - Is it for max power upon touch down or just show? - Also, I wonder if these cats are on a new motor every round or if they just "touch up" the existing(s)

See how RV took RD line after the woops and caught up or gained ground on RD? RD had the faster line though there.

The revving is for full power on landing. The wheel spinning fast takes away much of harshness on landing. I assume the engines are gone through after each race weekend. If any problems are found they replace the engine with a fresh one and send the broken one back to HQ for further analysis.

1. Got It
2. If fresh parts are added and not jut "new Motors" I would LOVE to see what Mfg "Holds Up" regarding the amount of refreshing and who the rider was - AKA does Vilpo destroy Kawi Motors but RD can get (3) rounds out of a motor for the most part and Davi needs a new motor each round kind of data

the dirtbike mags have articles on that kind of stuff all the time. pretty interesting to see what different teams do between outdoor motos.
