Bubba is Back

Wow!! Did Stewart ever kick ass last night in TO? Last time I saw him live was 2009 in Indy where I believe he feel twice and still won the race.

What was the deal with RV? was he sick or recovering from a bad fall. Too bad about Ciancello (sp?), welcome to the world of SX! He showed a lot of determination/grit last night. It will be interesting to see how fast he comes back and how aggressive he continues to be...

Now on to MotoGP. My first race this year will probably be the Roselawn, Ind. Sand Gobler Enduro - 4/13 on the new KTM...

I think JS tied a record that Ricky Carmichael has
That woop near the end was tossing riders all over the place. Glad JS won it. RV did pretty good for being sick too.

It looked like 2008 all over again - He had that funky ass rhythm section on lock - He also appears to have matured a bit and let his circus leave town without him - I like his laid back attitude and he seems to not be riding at 110% all the time

Still not a fan of his but dude did ride well last night - I think with Vilpo off his back he can rip it with no pressure

I'm not sure who's box you were looking at but Mr consistency Dungey took a nice 3rd.

Not going to stop villopoto from getting the championship at that pace, but it is on the box.

After four months on the sidelines, Trey Canard is finally ready to return to racing, the Team Honda Muscle Milk rider announcing he will ready to go for this Saturday’s for race at the Edward Jones Dome in St. Louis, Missouri.

Canard has been on the comeback trail since breaking his arm on Thanksgiving weekend while preparing for the 2014 Supercross season. The Oklahoma rider is no stranger to missing rounds due to injury, and no doubt will take it easy until he feels he’s up to speed.

“I’m really looking forward to getting back out there and racing with all these guys each week,” said Canard. “Since getting back on my bike and training for motos, everything has gone smoothly. I’ve been riding a lot at home in Oklahoma, and the Honda team came out and did some testing with me last week. I feel really good and my bike is working awesome. However, I expect it will take a little while to get up to full race speed, but I will give 100 percent effort regardless.”

GEICO Honda is reporting that Eli Tomac will return to action this weekend at round 13 of the Monster Energy AMA Supercross Series in the Edwards Jones Dome in St. Louis, Missouri.

Tomac has been watching from the sidelines for the past three weeks after aggravating his shoulder in Daytona, one week after he claimed an impressive second place finish in Indianapolis on March 1.

"I really do expect to be at the same level where I was before," Tomac said. "It certainly isn't a given but I expect a lot out of myself, and I hope to get some more podiums before the year is out."

Much to my surprise James has ridden fantastically in the last 2 rounds and indeed for the most of this season. He's in position to contend and I must say I'm very impressed with how he's approaching things now...one race at a time. RV still has the upper hand for the championship and if he rides smart will likely get it but, Bubba is making it MUCH more interesting than I ever thought he would!
I wish we could get a SX round here again...Sodier Field could host a cool race late in April or in early May!

"Dirt is for racing on...Asphalt is for getting there" OR "Flat trackers go in deeper and come out harder... OR (With apologies to General MaCarthur) "Old motorcycle racers never die, they just slip off the groove and fade into the dust!

If you want to anger a conservative, tell him a lie. To anger a liberal all one must do is tell the truth!

Great race. Unless RV has a DNF Bubba will not catch him for the Championship. I would like to see him win it but I doubt it will happen.

Bubba is killing it right now. He needs to win every race until the end and then crash in spectacular fashion. Man that one guy crashed hard over the little jump section. Over the bars in a big way.

According to a spokesman for the GEICO Honda team, Wil Hahn broke his humerus in four places and suffered a cracked skull in his horrendous crash last night at the Monster Energy AMA Supercross race in St. Louis’ Edward Jones Dome.
