Motocross boots?

The Sole came off one of my Sidi SRS boots (not just the screw on part)

What are some good MX boots that are not a gazillion dollars?

no such thing, rocky mountain has fox instinct ( runs small, you may want to order 1 size up) in black on closeout for $349, or you can find the new tech 8 for same deal, BTO?

I've got a pair of O'Neil boots and they are a good basic boot that provides good protection at a low price. Cycle Gear (2 chicago stores...Schaumburg and Tinley Park) stocks them and other higher end brands at sale prices.
There's a place in Michigan that specializes in MX boot repair...Fremont Boot Repair (231) 924-0190. They've been advertising in the Cycle Conservation Club of Michigan mag for many years and they have a good rep. They promise that once received boots will be repaired & shipped in 7 days. That's pretty good turn around.

Gaerne S12's.

I've done all kinds of boots, these fit like my favorite shoe from day one and don't show much wear, other than being permanently dirty.

Fremont's ad says they can replace the soles with Hi-Point and/or Vibram replacements. I've had Hi-Point boots in the good ol' days and they were the best available at the time.

It was more like slow-motion backflips. (I have a sense of style you know)
Actually I think it may have been on the ride back from the track to the front area in those lower trails.

Dirtbiker you make those boots sound good.
Bug, I'm the wrong size for that link (43 or 9.5)

Scored some Gaerne SG10's
Funny the looks you get when you are sporting shorts and MX boots.
