Anybody looking for some off road racing this weekend, the MAXC series has a race in Plymouth, IN. I'm just west of Elgin and it looks like a pretty doable 2.5hr drive for me. Adult bikes race at noon edt. Weather looks awesome with temps in the 60's.

Just a quick follow up. This is definitely a series I'd run with again. Very well ran overall. Love the fact that they race on Saturday too. Gives an extra day for clean up and just to relax/recover before going back to work. Wish we had a series in IL that did this.

Race ended up being near 2hrs for me. Course was 8 miles made up mostly of sand and with very little elevation change. Lots of whoopage as expected but strangely enough I actually enjoyed it. Felt great during those moments I could get a rhythm going. They did throw in a log section that was quite exhausting, but I managed to get through cleanly each time. Been practicing on the endurocross section at FVOR which has helped a lot.

They have a race scheduled next month at LTM in Casey, IL. I enjoyed riding there earlier this spring and as of right now plan on making this one. Well worth the drive if anyone else is interested.
