Who is in? Recovering from the D200 but should be good to go. I'll be racing the newly created B Supersenior (over 50). Last year there was only one SS class.

I struggled during the daytona 200 this weekend. One bad thing after another. A transporter forgot my spare rear wheel and front stand, Could not restart the bike after the first red flad - got it push started, got it boosted after the 2nd red flag. Finally found a loose battery terminal and restarted strong the third time only to be taken down by Herrin from the side as he passed me.

Crushed Hindle exhaust, broken bracket, broken master cylinder, bent clip on bar, destroyed superbike tail and upper, jammed throttle, bent rearsets, ripped leathers but luckily no serious permanent damage...

Very interested in this one. Especially since it's not far from home. Requirements are just lights mounted so I'm good to go there.

I asked this in another thread but how long do these typically go timewise? I saw posted somewhere that the loop covers approximately 60 ground miles. So I can kind of figure at least 3-4 hours or so...I don't know, maybe more? Not sure how much time is spent waiting between tests or if there is really much down time at all? I guess I'm trying to figure out what I should do for food depending on how long I'll be out there.

well I'm embarrassed to say that I didn't end up making it. I had a week of business travel in Quebec while fighting a bad cold the whole time. Flew back into Chicago from Ottawa Sat. night and essentially stayed in till Monday for work.

Heard the race was very rough - cold temps made for a very slick often frozen track. One of the tougher more unpleasant ones.
