AMA Dist 17 Roselawn Ind. Enduro 4/19

This is the second enduro in the series. who is in?

There is a family enduro on Sat. if you've never ridden one or want practice before the actual race.

I'll be renting a pickup and drivng in Sunday morning. See www.midwestenduros for more info.

Are these the type of enduros where you have to use roll charts and hit targeted times? Over or under the time takes away points?

I would have liked to try the Sat race but I'm busy with other stuff this weekend.

There is a hare scramble there the following Sunday (4/26) that I'm planning to make though.

All of the d17 enduros are reset type.

I'll be at the hs. It's at the nudist colony out there.

The Saturday family enduro series does not require lights or street legal. The full enduro on Sundays do typically.

I did a couple family enduros and they are a lot of fun. The nudist camp was a hoot. Nobody warned be about the bares in the woods (yes, bare not bear).

Make life challenging. Be the underdog!

Yes. There are bares out there.

I have been there several times for races. I have not seen good naked there yet. Only the bad kind

haha. Yeah all the enduros are reset type where you're not required to keep time and cant be penalized for arriving early.

The Aug. Roselawn is the one around the nudist camp. For the most part its pretty tacky. Most of the nudist you don't want to see. Although the first time I almost fell off my bike laughing because this really hot stark naked chick jumped in front of me taking my photo. A couple turns later, a guy was doing a nice looking girl from behind...

Well the conditions were ideal at least until the last test when it started raining but not bad @ all. Given that it was my first enduro this year, I'm totally beaten up - not a muscle on my bod is not aching. I was happy to finish and didn't finish last. Kept telling myself during the 5th test (11 miles) that if this is the fourth test, I'm definitely bailing. Was over joyed to hit the last check and find out that it was the last of the race.

One guy broke a leg, I got punted from behind once but otherwise uneventful. The skies totally opened up as I was packing up. Won't have to wash the bike now...lol
