I wanted to share a video I put together from the hare scramble this past Sunday down in Glasford. Figured I'd start a video thread so if anyone else has something they want to share they can post in here... or not, it doesn't matter.

This video is near 20 min long and I don't expect most people to watch more than the first 30 sec. However if you make it to the 1 min point, I'd then recommend skipping ahead to 6:40. That's near the beginning of the 4th lap. I had been leading(first time leading a race) since near the beginning of the 2nd lap and then a buddy of mine catches me and I do my best to keep him in site for the rest of the lap. He's been winning most of these that he shows up to so it was a big deal, to me anyway, that I was able to hang with him for so long.

Definitely one of my best performances to date and I ended up placing 3rd out of 18 in Vet C. Glasford is for sure one of my favorite places to race at. Video doesn't do the elevation changes justice either.

Good job. About 3 minutes in, you and a guy on a Yamaha go right and everyone else goes left. What was that about?

The guy on the yamaha caught the arrow leading to the right at the last second while the other guys missed it. They turned around almost right away though. I had my tunnel vision on so if that guy hadn't caught it, I probably would have missed it too.

That is a awesome looking course! Nice job on the 3rd place finish!

Nice riding. I was hoping he had some video from an actual competition. Would be cool to see some of the course setups.

I do have some just have to get sorted through it. There is another competition coming up in October that is at place with fantastic terrain. All the footage I have though is helmet cam footage so it's difficult to see the sections and other riders. I'll try to get some uploaded soon.

Here is some additional footage from the Lena trials event. Most of the footage is onboard with my friend riding his 1974 TY250. We were doing the novice line this day. I'm trying to sort through my footage but this will help give some idea of what the sections look like. It's difficult to see in the video but especially the novice line it is a lot of tight off camber turns. Testing balance, clutch and throttle control.

Ok here is some pretty embarrassing footage of my first time ever on a trials bike. I can see now how bad I was listening to the engine. Oh well enjoy. This wasn't the competition but we were riding the sections that were in the competition.
