Forest City Riders Dual Sport Ride

Not sure if anyone else rode out there today or not. I did and WOW what an amazing event. Just being able to ride a 30 mile loop without covering the same ground was amazing. Good combination of open fast sections and tight technical sections. I can't even imagine how much effort went into setting this up but the result was incredible.

Turnout was great too there had to be over 150 riders or so. The entire school grass lot was full and overlook had to be established to allow everyone in.

I will definitely being doing these every year probably the most fun I've had on the KTM all season. Plus there is something cool hitting 78 mph registered off-road. That's with the gearing swapped on the 350 to be lower for the single track I mostly ride. I can only imagine what it would hit with the stock gearing back on there. Amazingly stable and predictable at these speeds too.

Thanks to all the people that helped set this up.

I rode the Sunday enduro. I agree, it was a great course. They told me that the Saturday dual sport had approximately 325-350 riders. The Sunday event had close to 130 riders.

Talk about how much effort went into laying out the course... The dual sport was a 25-30 mile loop. The enduro was 20 miles. The two courses only shared a couple miles of trail. That's close to 45 miles of total trail that was cut and marked. About 40 different land owners gave permission to run on their property. Big thanks to the Forest City Riders club for all the effort and hard work.

Make life challenging. Be the underdog!
