Any updates on Mega-Tracks in Mendota?

I saw the youtube video from early November introducing the plan. Wardy was also hoping to be open sometime this winter. Has anyone heard any new updates? I'd really like to get some riding in over the winter.

I've just been following the updates on his FB page. They had some major work to do on the roof that I'm not sure is done yet. Started having some dirt and logs hauled on site but haven't seen any updates on when they plan to open.

Dave

Supposed to be near 50 Sunday. If FVOR is open I'm planning on heading down.

I'm hoping conditions are somewhat decent, but kind of doubtful with all of the rain we got last weekend. Dying to get a ride in.

If that log is an indication of what the track will be like I can't wait for this place to open!

One thing you have to say with Gerhard you know it's going to be done rite.

it's not the fall that kills you, it's that sudden stop

Wardy isn't fucking around. He is going to heat it with "a big ass furnace that draws fresh air".

Apparently it's been open for a while now??? I gotta head down there soon to get some seat time in. The rain this spring has really sucked.

That reminds me of the good old frozen days on inhaling exhaust fumes for hours out at Waterman - What a riot that place was

"Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming WOW, what a RIDE !!"

I've been wanting to check it out this past month but have ended up just heading to FVOR to ride or hit a couple HS races. Conditions have been pretty decent out at FVOR btw.

The indoor place will only be open until the 15th of this month, then closed until fall.
