June 19th - Poker run to benefit family of Joshua Kuhl

I normally don't post stuff up about this - but I think it's a worthy cause. I'm personally not one for poker runs, so I'm going to volunteer with my wife at one of the stops. The widow of Josh is an old high school friend of my wife's.

Quote:
Josh was a Husband, Father, Son, Friend and so much more and his memory lives on with each and every moment. Josh was involved in a motorcycle accident on July 28th, 2009 later passing away on August 2, 2009, from the injuries he sustained, at the young age of 33.

Josh was born in Elgin, and lived outside of Machesny Park. He was a graduate of the North Boone High School and received a bachelor’s degree from Northern Illinois University.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army/National Guard from 1993 to 2001 where he served as a specialist in Kuwait. He was also volunteer firefighter for the North Park Fire Department and protection district.

With so much accomplished in his short time with us the title he was most proud to have was that of a loving husband to Kalie and caring father to identical triplet boys, Trevin, Gavin, and Brodin. While the pain of losing a loved one will never completely heal, those who continue on can only hope to help. Please come out to support this wonderful cause.
